The Initiation
When a woman begins the Maiden to Mother initiation she is truly on the threshold, the bridge behind burning and yet a path ahead still uncertain. She has yet to discover that it is not what is ahead but what is within, that will save her. The signs are almost always the same for each of us; a deep rooted sense of unworthiness, a constant sense of danger, a lack of self trust, and feeling loveless, abandoned, and that you are bad.
The Inner Maiden is exhausted from a fearful, reactive, and terrifying life with no one to save her despite whatever she was promised in the fairytales but here, the maiden is at a crossroads. She must fight for herself beneath those terrifying and painful obstacles, those fire breathing dragons are your maiden wounds that have been steering your ship in the rocks and you must tend to those wounds with beauty and courage.
Because while life happens to the Maiden, life happens through the mother. The wounded Maiden can only try to survive in the waves; in calling on the Mother, we become the ocean.

She’s been teaching women on the resurrection of the Goddess & the return to the Earth for over 13 years: and for the last 7 she’s been leading them through the resurrected rites of passage to come home to the primordial primal & powerful Mother inside. The archetypal Mother of us all has been buried so that the feminine lost their ability to fight for life: but we need her desperately at these times to return to the front lines.
Sarah teaches through storytelling, song, spell & ceremony in a non hierarchal, non linear way that brings women & femmes back to the power of the Mother waiting inside of them.

Where we wake from the spell of the patriarchal maiden & shake back awake as the powerful PRIMORDIAL Mother to ourselves & Mother to the world.

MAY 16TH: OPENING CALL w/ Sarah Durham Wilson
An introduction to the Maiden to Mother Rite of Passage. Sarah shares her story of being a Motherless Daughter in the Patriarchy and waking to the infantilization of colonization. She begins to unearth buried the rites that served as the bridge from the helpless Maiden to the helper Mother. We will read from her book Maiden to Mother published on Sounds True in 2022. Plus: why the archetypal Mother was buried, why we must move from Motherless daughter to Mother of self & Mother of the world.
MAY 23RD: HOLDING COLLECTIVE + INDIVIDUAL RAGE & GRIEF
WORKSHOP w/ Guest Teacher Kritee Kanko & Sarah Durham Wilson (2 hours)
In this workshop, Sarah and her Teacher, friend & fellow Mother to the World KRITEE KANKO, a Zen Buddhist Priest, Climate Scientist, Grief-rage ceremony leader and the founding spiritual teacher of Boundless in Motion, will hold space in a revolutionary workshop that centers the grief & awakening of Polycrisis of Ecocide & Genocide we face. How we got here and what is being asked of us?

This is where we leave behind the patriarchal maiden who was a construct of the white man’s mind. This is where the Good Girl Mask cracks & we grieve Eve in the ways we thought staying small would save us. We identify the Maiden Traits in the collective & in us & how she presents. Sarah tells the story of the Handless Maiden and students identify wounded Maidens with themselves & others & begin to sense the Inner Mother.

Welcome to the Underworld, an intimate deep dive into the belly of your InnerWorld. We will walk in the footsteps of Goddess Inanna & Sarah will tell you the timeless legendary tale of the Descent of Goddess Inanna to meet her Dark Sister Ereshkigal.
Even before the story of Jesus died: Inanna went down, 7 layers deep, to meet the Dark Mother inside.
Here we meet our buried, primal & primordial Dark Feminine in the form of Ereshkigal, Queen of the Underworld. We call all the exiled parts of us back to the lap. We will release through ceremony: the false small patriarchal versions of us. Here we will do the work of release & grief to rise with Black Wings.

JUNE 27TH: MOTHER WOLF SOMATICS
EMBODIMENT w/ special Guest Teacher Alexandra Gonzalez
This is an embodiment class with Alexandra Gonzalez, a Rites of Passage Guide & Somatic’s Teacher to reanimate, reindigenize and deepen your innate connection with your animal body using sound, breath, movement and Earth elements. Howl, growl and reunite the wild wolf in you back to life: she is who we need her life & fight & teeth: to survive.
JULY 11TH: MOTHER PART 1

At last, we’ve crossed the threshold into Mother! Welcome to those who rose from the ashes of the Underworld. This is where we bloom into the wild potent rose with a sword made of thorns: into who we came to be. Where we pollinate the wasteland with the Primordial Feminine. Where we root deep into our communities of Mother Trees, where we Mother ourselves & Mother the world that is crying out for the Great Mother in you. Students will identify their Mother traits & meet their Archetypal Mother & share her with others.
